” WOW”

We stayed 4 nts in Villa Sali in April, myself, husband and 2 daughters aged 17 & 19 yrs.
It took us 3 hrs from Legian by road, but certainly worth it.
As soon as we entered the property saw the open doors onto the infinity pool and sea we all said ‘wow!’ just beautiful.
The ladies who looked after us were lovely. Great cooks, kept the villa clean, did our washing for us and got supplies when we needed them.
The Gardner Agus and Didi security were great too, very friendly.
The pool was fabulous, a good size and was just so relaxing looking out to sea.
You could just step onto the beach, which is black sand, straight into the sea. Plenty of locals fishing and bathing in there. Also quite a lot of rubbish being washed in daily, but we did see locals picking it up, but a common thing in Bali unfortunately.
The girls and James went out on the local boat to see the Dolphins, picked up on the boat at 6am and back about 8.20 am, right outside the villa! Took them about an hour to find them, but they enjoyed it.
We did have a locals pass by on the beach trying to sell us things, but once we said no they moved on.
We had massages at the villa on 2 different days which was nice, saved us having to arrange transport.
There are villas on each side of the property. One of the villas we did not hear very much, but on our second to last day in the afternoon/evening a family arrived who had extremely noisy children. I work with kids so am pretty tolerant, but these ones were screaming and shouting and parents seemed to just let them get on with it, and continued till bed time.
We were all getting quite cheesed off by this stage, nearly went around, but decided to wait till morning and see if things improved.
They were not quite as bad the next day, but still noisy, and then luckily the villa manager appeared so I told her, and she said she’d speak to them. By now we were on our last full day, and yes we still heard them, screaming and shouting but not quite as continuously as the day before.
It baffles me why parents put up with it, I would be so embarrassed if my girls had been like that, to me it is not acceptable.
Would we return, yes, and would hope that we don’t have noisy neighbours, but it’s the same in hotels, some parents couldn’t care less what their kids do. Having fun and laughing is very
different to screaming and shouting.
The villa itself is lovely. Beautiful outlook, great staff and is the real Bali!
Thank you Angelique for arranging everything for us, very easy and great communication.
They also have a lovely family of ginger cats, mum, dad and 3 kittens, who are very sweet. Please look after them, there are too many sad cases of animal cruelty. We fed them and the staff seem to help them too.
When we go back it will hopefully be for longer, 4 nts just went so quickly for us.
Enjoy,
