We spent an amazing week at Villa Bayu, Lovina! The team—Novi, Madé, Ketut, Jonie, and Gedé—were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Every meal was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. You do pay for the groceries, but it’s totally worth it for the quality of the meals. They took care of everything—from activities and restaurant bookings to yoga classes. Special shoutout to our lovely driver, Dewa, who made getting around a breeze, and Eka, our yoga instructor, for relaxing sessions with a view We celebrated my husband’s birthday, and they made it so special with a lovely dinner, Balinese dancers, and beautiful flower decorations! The road there feels remote, but the villa is gorgeous, spotless, and well-maintained. You’re surrounded by nature—monkeys, birds, butterflies, and even friendly cats. Though North Bali is less touristy, great restaurants are nearby, and we loved the peaceful vibe. If you’re looking for a serene getaway, Villa Bayu is perfect!
