Best holiday anyone could wish for! The staff are second to none and we miss them already!

What a wonderful decision we made to stay at Villa Cantik we arrived to a wonderful welcome by the staff who introduced themselves and then take us on a tour of the Villa and all it had to offer, the owner communicated every step of the way with helpful tips, recommendations and clear instructions. Kedik our in house cook made the most incredible meals that we decided to eat at the Villa almost every day but skipped a few meals to give Kedik a rest nothing was too much trouble we were treated like a king and queen and we became fast friends and wish her all the best and hope for a safe arrival of her first child. Doffi the house keep kept the Villa spotless every day the whole Villa was cleaned top to bottom regardless of use and always a smile,I had placed our dirty washing in the washing basket to do myself on the week end only to arrive back from a trip and everything was washed and placed back in room. Eddie the gardener and pool boy had the Villa looking spick and span provided fresh coconuts to drink when ever asked and that smile every morning just started the day off right the gardens are stunning and Eddie mowed the grass when requested just so it looked stunning as per website. Doddi our driver was just a wonderful tour guide and very safe with good english and lots of fun, we really enjoyed his company ,we even talked him into feeding the monkeys for the first time ever and going on the swing that was so funny. Spice Beach was the best place to eat the service and food excellent when not eating at home this is the place to be. The Villa had the best mattress and pillows with soft white sheets freshly ironed ,stunning bathrooms (remember to bring toiletries not supplied) and excellent views we enjoyed watching the fisherman going past each morning and night all very friendly. The bedrooms have aircon but the main house does not so it would be good to have a TV in one of the bedrooms as the living area was just unbearable in the evening we had to go to our rooms by 7pm or stay outside under the fan other than that it was perfect and hope to return next year with all the family, with a fantastic pool and wonderful shady places to relax, the cabana on the beach with big white pillows was my place to relax and watch the day go by. The best place to enjoy a real Bali experience with the best staff you could ever wish for and very safe with our wonderful polite security all in all this was a dream holiday far from the maddening crowd thank you to all we look forward to our next visit.
