This staffed villa was the perfect location for our family stay in Bali. It exceeded our expectations & we had high expectations having read the reviews. I would say reviews are an accurate reflection of the villa & our experience.

Staff (Ilhu, Sayu, Anik, gardener & security guard) were really friendly, helpful, did their job to a high standard. They even offered to do our laundry before we left meaning we arrived back home from our holiday with no dirty clothes to wash, bonus! We felt truly spoiled & I think staffed villas are the way forward for me for our future holidays.

We had Jaya as our predominant driver during our trip(other drivers are also suggested & recommended) and he was great, a good tour guide and great with our kids.

Lovinia was ideal for a get away from the main touristy bits of Bali. It’s a bit of a drive to main touristy bits- 2-4hrs depending on where you are going. For local/closer places you would still need a bike or car hire or a driver.

To balance the review, I would share that although located right on the beach front, the beach wasn’t clean. (No fault of the villa or staff) I didn’t feel comfortable with my children playing on the beach but my husband and I enjoyed a short stroll on the beach. You would also need to budget a bit more for daily trips due to needing a driver daily.

We would absolutely visit Bali again and stay at the villa, prepared with our mosquito sprays & cream! The staff really do make a beautiful villa in a lovely location, an unbelievable & unique experience.
