We had the most wonderful 10 day stay at Villa Cantik for Christmas 2022. Nothing ran to schedule with our flights, but despite that, our driver Putu was there waiting for the 5 of us, ready to take us to Paradise. And it was just that. From the moment we stepped through the gates, we were made to feel extremely welcomed, and that continued for the entire 10 days. Our cook/housekeeping duo Kadek and Novi were delightful, and cooked us some amazing food – some of the highlights were Lele (catfish), BBQ local reef fish and my favourite, BBQ lobster. Crepes, fruit and fresh juice each morning was a bonus. We also ate at some local restaurants as well as some further afield when dat tripping with Putu. Our highlight trips were Snorkelling at Manganjan Island and dolphin hunting in a boat right off the beach in front of the villa. All of our activities were coordinated by the Villa manager Ketut, who was incredibly helpful, and when two of our party were sick, arranged for a doctor to visit. All in all we had a fabulous time, and are already talking about returning soon.
